Baked Lemon Garlic Salmon

Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets (skin on or off)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Lemon slices (for garnish)
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the marinade: In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Marinate the salmon: Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil. Brush the fillets with the marinade mixture, making sure each piece is evenly coated. You can also let the salmon marinate for 15-30 minutes if you have extra time, but it’s not required.
- Bake the salmon: Place the salmon in the oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and easily flakes with a fork. The baking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.
- Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven and serve it with lemon slices and freshly chopped parsley, if desired.
